King-Staves (wands)
The youth we saw grow from Page to Knight has now achieved his potential and become a King. He sits his thrown with relaxed ease, comfortable in his accomplishments and achievements. His face is open and honest, ready to dispense his justice in frank and straightforward terms. The window behind him is bright with the birds seen in the Ace and the Page reminding us that as we achieve one goal, others need to be set to propel us forward.
Does this King seem a little arrogant to you? Maybe he is trying to get you to reassess your goals and ideas and bring them back down to the realm of achievability! Don’t lower your sites, just shorten the trip. Take it a step at a time. If you see the wise King upon his throne, resplendent in his success, this card is telling you that the person in question is worthy of your trust and investment of time. He is honest and mature. Capable of being a friend in need the King is a man of warmth and depth. This may represent a person who you respect as being well-educated and well-learned *and* showing a strong capacity for common sense.
