The Wheel
A spoked wheel which can either be seen as a ship’s wheel or a carriage wheel hangs suspended, supported by the corresponding energies of the Sun and Moon both in their most glorious splendor. The moon projects rays of blue and green whilst the suns rays are of orange, yellow and blue. This card is representative of the Wheel of Fortune. It is aligned with the myth of the three sisters who wove the fate of a person, it talks about aspects such as chance, luck, serendipity and/or coincidence in your life.
When the wheel rolls in to your spread it is time to look at what is happening around you. The wheel alerts us that something is coming, and normally it is a happy change. The wheel talks about the gamble of life. You spin the wheel and you take your chances. Sometimes even the best and most carefully laid plans by man are totally torn asunder by the vagaries of fate. Don’t forget this can happen to you. Remember there is a positive side of the Wheel…sometimes it is a good thing when your number hits. Good fortune can be coming your way. But, normally, it is good fortune based on a foundation you have been developing. The wheel also talks about acceptance. Sometimes when we feel we are being unlucky we are trying to drive ourselves forward in the wrong direction. The wheel challenges you to ensure that you are rolling down the proper path.
